I have been trying to think of a song to use for a demo ride our IDA dressage team is going to do for a small 4H clinic in a month, and just cannot come up with anything that would be simple but interesting enough. I was thinking of doing something more catchy to get the kids excited and that might include some small costume for horse and/or riders ( Read more... )

Okay, guys, this is just a little follow up from my post about the Kentucky Cup Vaulting competition last week. If you remember, Sam, the horse I ride, carried the Mt. Eden ** team, because their team horse went lame. They ended up winning the ** competition, and here is the video. Sorry, it won't embed on LJ for some reason. :(

ETA: I've found/seen the myspace video involving the two dark horses but the one I'm looking for is the black pony and grey horse.

 I always have to have music playing. I don't like silence! While riding, I love playing music on my stereo, or if I'm the only one in the arena (and it's safe to do so!), I'll plug in one ear of my iPod. Does anyone else play music while riding?
